Ouch – that discomfort in your neck! It hurts, and, often , you cannot twist your neck from side to side. In reality you could even experience the pain of the neck pain in your upper arms, shoulders and even the jaw. This neck pain is quite often due to bad posture, sleeping with your neck bent, or quick neck movements while doing physical activities. Medical conditions also enter in, for example a ruptured disk, osteoporosis, cancer in the backbone, a spinal infection and cervical arthritis.

Pain $10.09 Living with chronic pain for over 40 years has taught me valuable lessons. Realizing that millions of Americans share this unkind challenge, I wanted to share practical ideas I found to be quite helpful. The basis of my chronic pain is fibromyalgia and temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD). My body has generalized pain as well as localized pain along with fatigue. Pain is a constant companion. One doctor’s theory is that my body had to accommodate the missing disc and fibromyalgia developed. My journey with pain and fatigue began when I was a college student and has progressed through marriage, motherhood, full-time college instructor, and now a retiree. Through the years some doctors told me that my condition is all in my head. I felt the guilt of not being a better daughter, wife, mom, teacher and friend. I work hard to turn frustration into living well with chronic pain. What Do I Do With My Pain? $7.79 WHAT DO I DO WITH MY PAIN? Pain numbs my spirit and deadens my soul. Without proper treatment the pain wounds my heart to the point of it being forever broken. Pain alters my way of thinking as it not only steals my joy my hopes and my dreams; it causes me to buy into the fear of me never letting go of the hurt. Pain renders my soul useless into thinking and believing there is no cure in an attempt to enslave me.
