Back pain in the United States is very common. 80% of Americans will suffer from low back pain at some point, and fortunately 90% of that pain will go away within 6 to 8 weeks.

Traditional treatments that are prescribed for back pain include those that are taught by traditional medical school training. And let’s not forget spinal decompression treatment. It costs less than 5% of a typical spinal surgery, and may provide safe, effective pain relief. There actually is a decent amount of research supporting it, but not what’s called Level 1 research. Research that is truly Level One entails larger patient numbers being randomized into two groups undergoing treatment prospectively. Spinal decompression treatment research maintains substantial patient numbers and displayed greater than an eighty percent success rate in quite a few studies, however, those studies were not prospective and randomized.

One may need back pain therapies that are alternative as opposed to traditional to realize pain relief being sought.
