Since cancers are caused when cells literally go “haywire,” an anti-inflammatory agent could play a role in calming cells down. If the cell is calm and doesn’t have the chance to start dividing uncontrollably, then cancer can be completely avoided.

Most people who want to hedge their bets end up taking a daily omega 3 supplement for their general health and to do everything possible to prevent cancer of any type. At least they are contributing to more facets of their health like their heart health. The jury is still out on whether or not omega 3 supplements will really help to prevent breast cancer, but its way better to be prepared.
